A New Beginning for Lenny

Donation protected
After almost 23 years of incarceration, Lenny Singleton is finally coming home.  His release is scheduled for the end of June.  If you have been following his story, you know that his sentence was extreme for the crime he committed.  He was a young man full of promise, who  earned his Bachelor's Degree and served in the Navy before he fell into the throes of his addiction to crack.  He was sentenced so severely because of the color of his skin.   Everyone expected that he would die in prison.  On January 12th, 2018, Governor McAuliffe of Virginia pardoned Lenny and gave Lenny the second chance that he was so deserving of.  Lenny will be coming home to his wife in Utah.  Many of you have asked how you might be able to help.  Lenny will be needing everything from clothes, to eyeglasses, to shoes, to a car.  For the last 23 years his belongings have fit inside a foot locker.  His wife Vandy will share everything she has with Lenny, but she lives on disability.  She will be traveling to Virginia in June to pick Lenny up.  What a celebration of Love that will be!  Lenny received a Miracle.  Please consider continuing that blessing by contributing to Lenny's New Beginning Fund.  Every donation is truly counted as a blessing and is truly appreciated.   Let's give Lenny a real welcome home.  God Bless!
