A Need for Home Furnace

Hi, my wife and I are having great difficulty in keeping our home warm now that its winter. Our heat pump broke and needs to be replaced. It's very old. It would cost to much to try and repair it. We are on a fixed income and have limited savings to put towards a new furnace. We really don't want to take out a loan for this. We can't afford to make extra payments that we might not be able to pay. The cost for us is $6,997.00 .which would include a warranty good for 10 years. We are both in poor health and are trying to keep it together. We have put up 3,000.00 down to get the team started. So yes, we are financing the rest of the cost from our savings.
Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
