Hi everyone, 
 
We're reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your financial support for Jela, a hardworking woman who came to Canada in 2023 with hope for a better future. Jela arrived here from Philippines to work as a nanny, dedicating herself to caring for children and supporting families just as she dreamed of supporting her own children back home. She is a loving mother, working tirelessly to provide them with a brighter future. 
 
But this year 2025, Jela received devastating news: she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cervical Cancer. What began as mild symptoms quickly turned into a life-threatening condition. Time is incredibly precious. Jela is undergoing palliative care, and doctors have made it clear that her condition is advancing quickly. Her heart aches not for herself, but for the chance to hold her children again, to share smiles, hugs, and love. 
 
Being far from her children while facing such a serious illness has been heartbreaking. Her greatest wish now is to be reunited with her children to see them, hold them, and spend precious time together while she still can.
