Hi, my name is Beatriz Pando, and I’m a single mom to three wonderful kids. My daughter has been accepted to New York University (NYU), and her check-in date is coming up soon. This is a huge milestone, and as her mom, I want to be by her side as she begins this exciting new chapter. We’ll be traveling from August 20th to August 25th to help her move in, settle, and give her a proper farewell as a family.

I would love for my two sons—Caleb (12) and Sammy (5)—to come with us. Being there to support their sister and say goodbye together would mean everything. But financially, it’s more than I can manage on my own. Travel and lodging for the four of us is just too much, and without help, I may have to make the trip without them.

This will be a major life moment for our family: helping my daughter step into her future while the rest of us return home—a family of four becoming three, at least for a little while.
