A Mother's Love, Helping Mama Donna

You don’t have to, you get to!

First, I would like to introduce my Mom, (AKA) Ms. Donna Easter, Nana, Granny, Mom! My mother is the epitome of determination, work ethic, independence, compassion, love, kindness etc. She is the type of person who never asks for anything, especially a helping hand but is the first person to give the last nickel she has to her family. She is the strongest most selfless person I know. I have seen her work multiple jobs and deliver food at night to make ends meet. I say all that, so you understand why I am reaching out for help for her. In the fall of last year, our family was shaken to its core when she was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a cancer that typically forms in cells and the lining of the anus. It causes severe pain, bleeding and discomfort in most cases. She has been through numerous surgeries and countless chemo treatments within the last year. It's because of the strength, determination, and the miracle of modern medicine that she is currently in remission. As we all know everything comes with a cost and no matter her determination or drive, she can’t finish this journey alone. Since being diagnosed, she has had to give up living on her own, place her things in storage and live with friends just to get by. She has completely depleted all savings and is working herself to death at over 60 years old. She is currently living with a coworker however the situation has deteriorated, and conditions are not sustainable. She is currently paying monthly toward her medical expenses which on average can total more than $100,000. Even though health insurance has paid all but 20%, she is still responsible for over $20,000. Working at a local grocery store part-time just isn’t cutting it but is physically all that’s possible. I am asking for donations to help her with her remaining medical expenses and anything past that will go to securing a suitable living arrangement for her. I will be eternally grateful for any and all donations. Please help me help my mom.
