<div>My name is <strong>Telba</strong>, and with a heart that is beyond broken, I am asking for help during the most devastating time of my life.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On <strong>Monday, January 26, 2026</strong>, I lost my son, Darrius, unexpectedly. As a mother, there are no words that can truly describe this pain. Losing a child changes you forever.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In <strong>2017</strong>, our family was shattered when my eldest son was taken from us due to gun violence. After losing his big brother, Darrius struggled deeply with his mental health. The grief from that loss stayed with him, and despite our love and efforts, he was never truly able to recover from the pain of losing his brother.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Darrius was more than what he went through. He was deeply loved, he mattered, and he was <em>my baby</em>. His life had value, and his story deserves to be remembered with compassion and grace.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This loss is especially heartbreaking because <strong>Darrius was my last living son</strong>. I am now grieving both of my children—an unimaginable pain no mother should ever have to endure.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Along with the overwhelming grief, I am also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. I am humbly asking for help so that I can lay my son to rest with the dignity, peace, and love he deserves.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward funeral costs. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser or keeping me in your prayers means more than you know.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for showing compassion during the darkest chapter of my life. Your kindness and support remind me that even in loss, love still exists.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>We hope that by sharing Darrius’s story, it helps bring awareness to the importance of mental health, grief, and the need for compassion and support for those who are struggling.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With gratitude,

</div>
