Nearing the End, The Importance of a Mother Daughter Bond!
I am an employer of a single mother (Liana) whose 25 year old daughter (Rachel) was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm completely heartbroken that such a beautiful and kind person is face to face with this nasty disease. The cancer has gotten progressively worse over time and it continues to challenge both Liana and Rachel. I am reaching out to everyone who reads this page to help a mother spend what are the last moments with her child. Liana is a proud mother, one who is reluctant to ask for help from others, which is why I have decided to ask for the help on her behalf. It is important that we find a way to get Liana away from work, however being a single mother Liana is unable to support Rachel and herself on the 60% compassionate care leave, which is why I am reaching out to you. We need to show her that she does not have to fight this alone; we cannot physically fight this for Liana or Rachel but we can help emotionally, spiritually and financially. Please help to support getting Liana away from work so that she can be beside her daughter. A bond between a mother and daughter is like no other, help us give Liana and Rachel the opportunity to continue to build the bond between a mother and daughter in these last moments.
