In late 2019 our worlds were turned upside down when we got the news that my mother had been diagnosed with stage 3c Cervical cancer. Without skipping a beat she started Chemotherapy and Radiation in hopes to beat cancer. She fought for months and we finally received the news my mom BEAT cancer! This joy was soon overshadowed because just 4 short months later my mom scans came back with news that would change our world. Her cancer has now returned and metastasized to other parts of her body including her lymphatic system, liver, lungs, and around her kidneys putting it at a stage 4 Terminal cancer.
Our mother is anything other than terminal in our eyes. She is strong. She is brave. She is full of hope and love. She has always been a fighter and has fought my entire childhood as a Single mother to provide for her girls the best she could. There are 3 of us girls- me Ashley- 23 , Katelyn- 16, and Aubrey-2. We cant imagine a world without our mom in it, and that is why we need your help. My mom is starting treatment to help her stay as happy and healthy as long as possible. We are asking for donations to help go towards the expenses that come with fighting cancer. She has been recently approved for a clinical trial at MD Anderson in Houston, TX, and without your help for travel expenses, childcare, and lost wages she will be unable to participate. Whatever you can give would be so greatly appreciated by her and her daughters. I hope and pray that our mom will be a clinical trial success story, and with hope and prayers anything is possible.
