A Miracle For Colleen Moore

Believing for a Miracle.

Colleen Marie Moore has spent 3 of the last 6 months at the OSU James Cancer Center, where she is currently undergoing another round of treatment for an aggressive form of Leukemia.

In August 2017, within weeks of returning from a missions trip to Ireland, Colleen was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This form of leukemia is very aggressive, and she was told she would have only 30 days to live without treatment.

Trusting God would see her thru the process, she began the chemo treatment. Within days Colleen’s blood platelets dropped to undetectable levels, causing spontaneous bleeding and brain hemorrhage, leaving her in a coma, and giving the family little hope of her making a full recovery. But God had other plans.

Jesus looked at them and said “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

To the amazement of the medical staff, and by the hand of God, she miraculously regained consciousness, overcame some extreme obstacles, went through weeks of rehabilitation and left the hospital in November which was 2 1/2 months after being admitted. Colleen went back to doing what she does best: loving her family & friends, reaching out to others who need the Grace of God in their lives, and proclaiming the healing & delivering power of Jesus.

On February 8, 2018 Colleen was told her leukemia has returned, and she is once again undergoing the necessary chemo treatment. Her platelets have once again dropped to dangerously low levels and this is of great concern. The platelets are being given to her when possible, but they are in short supply at the bloodbank.

Through all of this, Colleen’s husband, Weston, has been by her side, and has exhausted all of his vacation time, including time that was so generously donated by fellow co-workers, during her first stay in the hospital. Wes’s job is 1 & 1/2 hours away from the hospital.  Although some additional vacation hours have been graciously donated, He is once again faced with the challenge of trying to work at his job as much as needed due to the financial toll that this medical treatment has caused, and the need to be with Colleen, knowing this treatment can become critical for her very quickly

Will you please join with the Moore family & friends as we continue to pray for a complete healing for Colleen Marie Moore.

Also, if you can help financially, your monetary gift can help to offset the expenses that have been incurred in the past 6 months, and are still ongoing. Your gift, no matter how small can make a difference, and will go directly to Wes & Colleen.

In Colleen’s words: “I believe in miracles! I have witnessed so many in my life, and I am expecting some even today.”

Consider joining with an army of believers, who are binding together in support of the Moore’s. We know God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We believe.

A blood drive was recently held at LifeSource Apostolic Church in honor of Colleen, but there is still a need for blood platelet donors. You can donate platelets at Stone Ridge Blood Donation Center in Gahanna, Ohio or another center which will help with the shortage for her and others who need life saving platelets. Even if you are not a match for Colleen, it will greatly help others who are facing this need.
