So, not that I had any doubt in my mind that my brother Justin, who was blessed with the condition called Williams Syndrome, would ever get married, but this guy, ever since I can remember, has always been on the hunt for the right one so that he could finally get married, almost to the point where I never wanted to get married myself.
The reason I'm starting this is because, well, fast forward about 15 years and Justin has seemed to find that perfect person for himself and is actually getting married. All of his wildest dreams are coming true day by day, and of course, it's more exciting for him now that he's about to ride off into the sunset with his wife, Chelsea Skinner.
Justin was telling me just the other day how everything was going to go the day of the wedding. Since I'm going to be his best man, he wanted me to be informed with everything I need to know. Then he told me that everybody is going to have to stop and get something to eat on the way if they were hungry because he or Chelsea could not afford to pay for the food or drinks. As I laughed a little bit, my heart just broke into so many pieces because this was the one day he's been waiting for his whole life, it seemed, and even though he didn't let the fact that he could not afford to feed everybody stop him, he would not let that stop him from marrying his fiancée.
This inspired me to try and reach out for a little help and make sure that all his family and hers get fed if possible. Thank you.
The wedding is on May 24, 2025 and is at 4:00 pm
