Gary Stalter Received A New Heart

A HEART OF GOLD, NEEDS A HEART Our father, Gary Stalter, is truly a man with a heart of GOLD! The problem is that he is in need of a heart transplant. This year has been so incredibly hard for him. He has had to quit working the job he loves due to his failing health and has gone through many upon many surgeries trying to fix his heart. From an irregular heartbeat to a leaking valve and much more. One by one they have been doing surgeries to keep him going. He has been rushed to the ER many times this year (scary thing with COVID) and the doctors have finally agreed that a new heart is the only way to make him better. He was told his heart will not make it to the end of the year. He can no longer work and now they have had to close their small stationary business so that his wife can become his caretaker. He is currently down at UCLA and has just been APPROVED for a heart transplant. He needs to get stronger for the big surgery but is on track to do that in the next few weeks. Then the wait begins. While waiting for his new heart and after the surgery he will have to stay close to the hospital. This means living hours away from home but still having all the bills and financial responsibilities from home and extra expenses for living closer to the hospital. In addition to them both now not being able to work and needing to live on a very small fixed income, they will soon be faced with the mounting medical bills that will be coming. We are trying to ease his worry and raise money for his expenses and bills to come. He shouldn't have to worry about his bills right now, just getting healthy and stronger.  Gary is a prideful, caring and giving man that does not ever ask for help for himself.  So, we are asking for support for him.  ANYTHING YOU CAN SPARE WILL HELP! Gary has always helped others, friends, family, strangers. He is the kind of man that has never passed a broken down car on the road. He would always stop to help and never ask anything for anything in return. He truly has a heart of gold!!
