A Magical Christmas in Bloom

Donation protected
Last Saturday, Joe and I served hot cocoa outside the pizzeria to those trying to catch a glimpse of Old Saint Nick as he walked Main Street. At one point, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a young boy walk up and slip a letter in our mailbox. We couldn’t resist - we stole Santa’s mail!

The letter was sweet and selfless, he asked for a little for himself, but a lot for others. It touched our hearts. We immediately wanted to do something to help his Christmas wish come true. After some detective work, and thanks to social media, we found and spoke with his mother! She informed us that her son wanted to find a mailbox for Santa all week and finally found one outside our pizzeria. She said he has an amazing imagination and is a very sweet boy. His very first wish is to feed “everyone in the universe” (pause while we grab a tissue).

His family is grateful to be able to wrap and place all that’s on his list under their tree this year.. all except for 2 gifts.

First, a “Tech Company”. His mother explained that he wants to start a tech company that sells electronics for 1/2 price and gives all profits to the homeless (we are still ugly crying ).

Second, the new VR gaming device Oculus Quest 2, that comes equipped with a hefty price tag that the family just couldn’t swing this year.

When we offered to try our best to help make his 2 remaining wishes come true, she emotionally tried to refuse. But we really love Christmas. Like a lot. And we also really love our community.

We decided to contact our business lawyer and created an LLC along with a trademark on the name for his “tech company”. We wanted to protect it for him until he’s older and ready to chase his version of the American Dream.

As we searched for the second gift, which we knew very little about, we learned it’s one of this year’s hottest gifts and is practically sold out everywhere.
But with a lot of searching we we lucked out and found one!

Turns out this gift is quite expensive and it would be financially hard for us to do both. Although we are fully determined to cover the total cost if necessary, we are hoping our friends, family, neighbors and customers alike would be willing to pitch in and help us make this boys Christmas wish come true. Believe us when we say that we know this year has been tough, and to be honest it’s not easy asking for help. We just believe it be great to finish off this year with some good ol fashion Christmas magic. We appreciate any and all help - no matter how small.

Joe will be dressing up as Santa on Christmas Eve to deliver both of these gifts to the boy. Along with a gift card for a free pizza for every single kid in his class at school in honor of his wish for “food for everyone in the universe”.

We would also like to honor his first wish with a free order of garlic knots to all that make a donation.

Regardless if you can help or not, from our family to yours - Merry Crustmas!
