A Love Song To The Earth

Dear Friends,
My name is Jessica Roemischer. I’m a pianist and storyteller, New York-born and raised. I live now in Sydney, Australia. In these times of challenge and uncertainty, wherever you are in the world, I hope this finds you well.

I’m asking for your support to manifest a dream I've held for a long time. It's a vision of hope and inspiration - a music and story video called, "A Love Song to The Earth."

Why the Need?
One year ago, most of us couldn't imagine life today. Our challenges and the need for deep healing, are far and wide. A  New Year will be upon us, the holidays are approaching.  We need messages of REAL hope and REAL meaning - a vision that touches the hearts and lives of all who experience it. That's my goal.

What You'll Make Possible...
"A Love Song to The Earth," is a 5-7 minute video produced with a small team of talented and dedicated individuals. It's a message of love, hope and faith at this very challenging time.

To give this gift for the Holiday season - a time that will be difficult for many -  filming needs to start on November 29th. That's the urgency.

Now imagine...
Dawn is breaking on the Pacific, at the edge of the oldest continent on earth--Australia. A majestic, grand piano sits high on a bluff, overlooking the ocean. The magnificence of nature's glory emerges with the new light. The ancient musical sound of the didgeridoo ripples out, filling the silence. As the sun rises, an evocative story begins with lilting piano melodies...unfolding...calling to the heart with a vision of our world healed.

The centerpiece of the video is an uplifting story with my original piano music,  accompanied by Gumaroy Newman, one of the finest Indigenous musicians in Australia. The video is filmed in captivating, high-definition aerial and land photography by acclaimed filmmaker, Jim Hare.

The story, music and gorgeous location shots celebrate our humanity--the unique gifts and essential goodness in each of us.

Meet the "Love Song to The Earth" Team...
Jessica Roemischer - I'm an award-winning pianist and storyteller. My life is dedicated to enlivening the human spirit through word and music. My original piano pieces, acclaimed memoir, and inspirational podcast reach audiences around the world. This project is a dream come true.


Joe Arthur - As the Pro AV Product Marketing Manager at Roland Corporation, with his in-depth understanding of product, marketing, technologies and design, Joe brings many talents to this project. He's contributing as an artistic director,  audio engineer, photographer, logistics facilitator and a talented 'weather guru' (essential!) for this location shoot.


Jim Hare - With over 30 years' experience in Film, TV, Music and Multimedia, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to this project, assisting in concept development, and captivating, high-definition drone and land-based cinematography and editing. Jim's credits include Academy Award-winning films, The Matrix and The Great Gatsby, and music videos for iconic bands like INXS, Crowded House, AC/DC, and many more.


Gumaroy Newman - Gumaroy is an indigenous performer,  yidaki (didgeridu) player, traditional song man, poet, and cultural educator. A proud descendant of the Gamilaroi and Wakka Wakka nations, Gumaroy has performed in over 40 countries, including at the Glastonbury and Vancouver festivals. He has worked with spiritual leader, His Holiness The Dalai Lama, and with numerous artists, including the innovative, American hip hop group, Arrested Development.
