A love for my brother

This painting you are looking at was done by my brother, Mark Desman.  Just after finishing it he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and subsequently had an emergency craniotomy.   While in the hospital he was put on the medication called Vimpat.    It cost over $1,000. with his co-pay from Medicare and his Medicare plus plan.  The drug company would not help and so any reserve of funds he had was wiped clean.  He has been through radiation and now 11 months of chemotherapy.  His courage and strength of resolve are amazing.  He is trying to work, and to continue his painting,  and to even start a poster business.  The chemotherapy tires him out and does not give him many degrees of freedom.  He lives alone and is too proud to accept help from anyone.  Our family is only my Mom who is 94, and me his little sister.  We lost my older brother 12 years ago to a very aggressive cancer also.  It is not only money that is required here.  Helping to build his art career and for him to see his painting sold either as giclee prints or originals would be masterful.  He has worked as an art director for 18 years and has painted amazing posters.  We could use help printing and the sales of those as well.  I am willing to do whatever it takes to help my brother.  He has a 15-year-old son, who will go to college with no funds saved for him in the next few years, as my brother lived in a good school district so, his son could get an excellent education.  Mark has funds for the next few months and his prognosis is dire.  I need business support and to help him through a most heartwrenching disease.
