Emma's Thames Marathon (14 km)

Giraffe Mobile Education Project, or Giraffe for short, is being set up to give educational support to children of primary-school age in the Akropong Akuapem Township in Ghana. Providing regular access to books and other educational resources through a mobile library travelling between several primary schools, Giraffe will supplement the children's education by encouraging them to adopt a habit of reading for pleasure.

I will be swimming 14 km of the River Thames on Sunday 6th August to help raise money for this exciting new project.
