<div>My name is Maha, and I am the mother of four children: Aboud, Mahmoud, Saba, and Malak.

<div>I lost my husband six years ago, and since that day I have done everything in my power to be both a mother and a father to my children. We have lived through extremely difficult circumstances in Gaza, enduring war, fear, displacement, and the loss of even the most basic necessities of life.

<div>I lost my home in Jabalia — the home I was still paying for in installments — and with it, I lost the sense of safety and stability I struggled so hard to provide for my children. Since the beginning of the war, we have been forced to move from one place to another, living through endless days of fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty.

<div>Despite all these hardships, I always tried not to ask anyone for help. I relied on God, then on myself, to raise my children and provide for their needs. But after years of suffering and war, life has become harder than ever, especially after many charities and organizations that once supported and sponsored my children stopped operating.

<div>Our pain became even greater when my youngest son suffered a devastating accident after falling from the fourth floor. He leaned against a damaged and unstable wall in the house we had fled to during the war because of the bombing and destruction. Those moments are impossible to describe. He was admitted to intensive care and underwent multiple surgeries, during which metal plates had to be implanted because of the severe injuries he sustained.

<div>Although God granted him survival, he still requires ongoing physical therapy and psychological rehabilitation to recover from the trauma he endured both physically and emotionally. Watching my child suffer while being unable to provide everything he needs has been one of the hardest experiences I have ever faced as a mother.

<div>Today, I am living through extremely difficult circumstances, and I no longer have the ability to provide my children with their basic needs — education, food, clothing, medical treatment, and a dignified life — especially as life in Gaza has become unbearably expensive and harsh under the current conditions.

<div>After a long period of hesitation, I finally decided to ask for help so I can start over and provide my children with a safer and more stable life, help them continue their education, and allow them to live with dignity like other children.
</div>

<div>All I wish for today is to be able to treat my children and give them a safe and stable future after all the fear, pain, and suffering we have endured.
</div>

<div>لقد خسرت بيتي في جباليا، البيت الذي كنت ما زلت أسدد أقساطه، وخسرت معه الأمان والاستقرار الذي كنت أحاول بكل جهدي أن أوفره لأطفالي. ومنذ بداية الحرب، اضطررنا للتنقل من مكان إلى آخر، وعشنا أيامًا طويلة مليئة بالخوف والتعب وعدم الاستقرار.

<div>ورغم كل هذه الصعوبات، كنت دائمًا أحاول ألا أطلب المساعدة من أحد، وأعتمد على الله ثم على نفسي في تربية أطفالي وتأمين احتياجاتهم. لكن بعد سنوات من المعاناة والحرب، أصبحت الحياة أصعب من أي وقت مضى، خاصة بعد توقف الكثير من الجمعيات والجهات التي كانت تساعد وتتكفل بأطفالي.

<div>وزادت معاناتنا عندما تعرض ابني الأصغر لحادث مؤلم بعد سقوطه من الطابق الرابع، إثر اتكائه على حائط متضرر ومتهالك في المنزل الذي نزحنا إليه خلال الحرب بسبب القصف والدمار. كانت لحظات لا يمكن وصفها، وقد تم إدخاله إلى العناية المركزة وخضع لعدة عمليات جراحية تم خلالها تركيب بلاتين له بسبب الإصابات الخطيرة التي تعرض لها.

<div>ورغم أن الله كتب له النجاة، إلا أنه ما زال بحاجة إلى علاج طبيعي وتأهيل نفسي مستمر حتى يتمكن من تجاوز ما مرّ به جسديًا ونفسيًا. رؤية طفلي يتألم وعدم قدرتي على توفير كل ما يحتاجه كانت من أصعب اللحظات التي عشتها كأم.

<div>اليوم أمرّ بظروف صعبة جدًا، ولم تعد لدي القدرة على توفير احتياجات أطفالي الأساسية من تعليم وطعام وملابس وعلاج وحياة كريمة، خاصة أن الحياة في غزة أصبحت قاسية ومكلفة بشكل لا يُطاق في ظل الظروف الحالية.

<div>وبعد تردد طويل، قررت أن أطلب المساعدة حتى أستطيع أن أبدأ من جديد، وأوفر لأطفالي حياة أكثر أمانًا واستقرارًا، وأساعدهم على إكمال تعليمهم والعيش بكرامة مثل باقي الأطفال.

<div>كل ما أتمناه اليوم هو أن أستطيع علاج أطفالي وتوفير حياة آمنة ومستقرة لهم بعد كل هذا الخوف والتعب والمعاناة.
