A Little Help from My Friends...

Friends, it's hard for me to ask for help but here I am. Six months into the pandemic and I'm still not finding work despite applying for jobs almost on a daily basis. It isn't encouraging to receive updates on applications, which inform me that hundreds of other people have applied for the same job. I usually have a short roster of steady tutoring and editing clients but that isn't the case right now. I lost my core writing job (writing about travel and the rail system in Italy) because of the pandemic and it won't be renewed. I wasn't able to pay to renew my domain name and website for my business, so I can't even promote it to try to find new customers (and could sure use some help in that regard, too). The website is kind of sitting there in limbo and ready to go, I just have very little money to spare now and have to decide what is essential. It looks like it will cost around $150 to renew the domain name and the site, but it seems like there are always extra costs, so that's why I'm asking for $200. I'm just hoping for a bit of help so I can get up and running again. I know a lot of us are really struggling right now, so I absolutely understand if you can't help.
