Dear TL Select 12U Families,

A few of us wanted to reach out to ask for your support. Our loving, feisty, dedicated coach Luis Naranjo has been going through a super tough time recently. The headlines are:

1) The fires caused power outages in big sections of LA County, including the one where Lu lives. When the power was restored, it caused a surge that blew out many people's fuse boxes and household appliances. Lu's home was one of those houses. He and his family lost a few of their major appliances and are having to replace them at great expense.

2) His baby daughter got very ill and was hospitalized and then Lu got it. That caused him to miss work which also impacted his income.

3) And then, on the morning of April 6th, he walked out his door to get in his car and drive to all of us for a baseball game and his car was gone. It had been stolen. The good news is, he did get his car back, the bad news is, two of his tires were popped and one window was smashed and his insurance is not going to cover it.

Lu manages a lot, a young dad, two jobs, long commutes. He loves our boys fiercely, he works hard and you narry hear a complaint out of him, even through all of this. We're hoping to raise some money for him and his family to make this rough patch a little smoother. We hope you'll join us.
