Hi my name is Kiara and my coworker Heather and her family are going through every parent’s worst nightmare.

Jasmine is only 6 years old, and she’s fighting for every breath. She has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia along with a painful pleural effusion—conditions that have landed her in the hospital and now require an emergency chest tube just to help her survive.

Her family is terrified and overwhelmed as they watch their little girl endure this battle. On top of the emotional toll, they are also facing a heartbreaking financial burden—Jasmine currently has no insurance to cover the cost of her life-saving care.
