<div>Hi, my name is Débora Zangaro, I live in England and I'm fundraising for my dear and hardworking sister Roxana, who like many in the community of Valencia, has lost her beloved business to the relentless floods of the 29th of October. Rosa's Cakes was my sister's dream come true. She is an artisan and an extremely hardworking and generous woman who makes magic with fondant and is passionate about making beautiful and delicious creations to suit every occasion and taste. Through her dedication and with the help of her husband Claudio and daughter Micaela, in 2020 (the year of the pandemic), she managed to keep her business thriving by hand delivering her cakes to her clients´ windows and front doors during lockdown.

<div>The unprecedented storms flash flooded Rosa's Cakes on October 29th, destroying windows and doors, washing away furniture and equipment and leaving the store open to looters and thieves who took her refrigerators, ovens and everything else that was left.

<div>It is my goal to raise 60,000 euros to help my sister restore the cake shop she worked so hard to build and that brought so many people sweetness and joy. Rosa´s Cakes is everything my sister had and her family's sole source of income and she, as well as my brother-in law and my niece, are devastated by the loss. Your contribution is a much appreciated and unforgettable gift. The entire community of Valencia is mourning and struggling to get back on their feet.

Rosa´s Cakes fue el sueño de mi hermana hecho realidad. Ella es una gran artesana, incansable y generosa, capaz de hacer magia con el fondant y a quien le apasiona elaborar espectaculares tartas para celebrar cualquier ocasión y satisfacer todos los gustos. Con mucho esfuerzo logró mantener abierta su tienda en el 2020 durante la pandemia haciendo cientos de entregas a domicilio con tal de no fallarle a su clientela.

<div>La catastrófica inundación relámpago del 29 de octubre se llevó el sueño de Roxana, rompiendo puertas y cristales, arrasando con muebles, equipos y dejando la tienda abierta y a merced de saqueadores y ladrones que acabaron con refrigeradores, hornos, materia prima y todo lo que quedaba.

<div>Mi meta es reunir 60,000 euros para restablecer la repostería que Roxana trabajó con tanto ahínco para construir y que le trajo dulzura y alegría a tantos. Rosa´s Cakes es todo lo que mi hermana tenía y su única fuente de ingreso. Tanto Roxana como mi cuñado y mi sobrina están devastados por la pérdida. Vuestras contribuciones serán muy agradecidas y un regalo inolvidable. La comunidad valenciana sufre y lucha por volver a la normalidad.
