A Knight in Shining Armour

Hello noblest of noble ones!

I'd like to announce to you the new crowd funding I'm organising called Knight in Shining Armor! I will soon make a dedicated video where I will
explain all about this project but fundamentally it's a fund raiser with the aim of having a whole set of late 15th century armour tailored for me from a high quality craftsman.

Here are some specifics of this project.

Reason for the project: I've decided to go for a crowd funding because considering my last six months of youtube earnings what youtube pays doens't allow me to invest anything on new projects. Of course patreon support is what runs the channel at the moment but a crowd funding could allow me
to invest on the figure of the knight in my channel, the only kind of warrior I could never reenact without it because of the actual costs.

Prospect of content production: Of course having a knight armour set is one of my dreams, but that's not the only factor motivating this whole
iniciative. With a knight set I could:

1) Make specific content focused on the European knight, the differences between the centuries, every single component explained in detail,
dedicated videos to armour mobility, armour on horse back, myth busting misconceptions with the actual proof right there! Some people often say
that in order to speak about the knights you don't really need the armour you can use google pictures, but please imagine a channel like knyght Errant without his armour, or a channel like mine removing all the videos about the Romans with the actual gear.

Wearing Roman and samurai gear gave me experiential knowledge, I've learnt and explained things I would have never known if I hadn't done it
myself. I believe in the potential of accademic and experiential knowledge together, that's the power of the community of the sword and content
creators like me, Schola Gladiatoria Skallagrim etc.

2) Owning a knightly harness would allow me to produce high quality content relating to, but not limited to, the evolution of knightly armour,, the
reasons behind many specific choices, comparing the knight with men at arms, archers, crossbowmen and much more. (i.e. Why a knight would wear a certain piece of armour and an archer wouldn't and so forth).

3) Comparative video series could be created, comparing a samurai set with a knight set, comparing Roman gear with Medieval gear, trying to fully
understand the reasons that lead to a certain technological development from Roman into Medieval gear.

Combat videos could also be produced finally having a knight vs a samurai and much more!
