<div>I am Stephanie, a microbiologist and passionate science communicator from Kenya. I founded Under the Microscope (UTM), a Kenya-based not-for-profit organization that promotes science literacy, STEM education for girls, and public science engagement. Our mission is to nurture science with and for society. I have been accepted into the one-year Master’s programme in Science Communication at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom.

<div>Last year, I set up this fundraiser and am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me. Because of your generosity, I was able to secure admission. Unfortunately, due to a delayed visa, I had to defer my studies and lost a scholarship. However, this year, I’ve secured two scholarships, and my travel documents have been approved!

<div>To make this dream a reality, I humbly ask for your help to cover the final stretch so I can join school on 30 September 2024. I’m seeking €2,600 / $2,882 to cover my flight and initial living costs as I continue to pursue additional scholarships and job opportunities in London.

<div>Your support will make all the difference in helping me finally achieve this goal. Thank you for your support so far—I deeply and sincerely appreciate it. Thank you for believing in me!
