A Humanitarian Trip to Nepal

A once in a lifetime opportunity has found its way to me...

In April I will be going to Kathmandu, Nepal to implement a reading program for disabled children at the CDCA Kapan  http://www.cdcakapan.org/  . The Center for Disabled Children Assistance is a non-profit for education and skill development that has a vision to give the disabled children of Nepal every possible opportunity to overcome adversity and poverty through education. This reading program is the first of it's kind for the organization and Nepal, and I am humbled by the chance to make a real difference in the lives of the children of our world.

I am giving by nature and have consistently found my truest happiness in helping others. I may need a job to to survive, but I always gravitate to my volunteer opportunities to keep my soul alive.
If you would like to join me in empowering the children of Nepal with the gift of reading, please help me reach my goal with a donation and sharing my page.

I am raising 50% for my cost of the trip which includes:
airfare and lodging
In addition, the other 50% will go towards the CDCA Kapan which will include:
Supplies (paper, crayons, pencils)
Monetary donation for the needs of the children

I am beyond grateful for every kind soul who goes on this journey with me and for every donation you will receive a handwritten note with as much appreciation as I can stuff into the envelope.

Much love,
