Jojo is a homeless man who has become a champion of the unhoused movement. he is a resident and leader at the near north encampment, which has grown to be one of the most well supplied and safest encampments under his protection, and fights everyday to get resources and housing to homeless people.
Jojo and the Near North camp need money in order to acquire a small apartment building to use as a base of operations for the growing mutual aid work that the camp does. this base would be used as an emergency shelter, a workshop for unhoused survival kits, and as a resource center for homeless people all over the city.
