In the very early am of February 1st, Joe Kereszi Jr. had a massive heart attack and died at home as his longtime partner Patty, her/their children and grandchildren surrounded him as he took his last breath.
Patty and Joe worked and lived together for 22 years, and rarely spent one day apart from one another. He was a second father to her children Jimmy and Laura, and was Pop Pop to Cheyenne, Angel, and Kay Kay.
Joe paid half of the rent and bills every month, and with his death there is not only sadness & grief, but serious financial strain.
We are asking for $4500 to help pay the rent and bills for Patty and the girls for the next 3 months, until they can find a less expensive place to live.
Currently Patty has paid next month's rent, but it would be extremely helpful to have more funds soon, so she can pay for another 3 months in advance for a stable home for herself and the girls as they grieve and learn to move on without him in their lives...
