My father, Joe Aguila, recently lost his home and all his belongings in the Camp Fire. He was only able to get out with a small bag of personal items and his dog. He had about 2 minutes to evacuate which left little time to preserve any of his possessions. We are thankful that he was able to make it out alive. Unfortunately he did not have renters insurance to help him on his road to recovery. All he wants to do is purchase a used travel trailer so he can return once it is safe. He has many skills and talents, and wants to put those to good use in helping to rebuild his beloved community, which is why he desperately wants to go back. 

For now he is safe and well staying with our family and we are doing all we can to make this terrible disaster a little less terrible for him. We are humbled by how many friends and family have already reached out asking how they can help, and if any are able to chip in to help him get a trailer that he can use as a temporary home while his is rebuilt we are grateful.
