A Home For Courtney & Grayson
My dear friend, Courtney Preece and her incredible son, Grayson, are in desperate need of a home.
At the end of February, Courtney was notified that her landlord would be selling the house. She has until May 31st to find a suitable home. Which brings us here...
On April 21st, 2012, at the age of 18, Courtney was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis (TM). She has spent the last 9 nine years in a wheelchair and continues to face daily challenges due to this terrible disease.
Courtney and Grayson have been through so much together and I would love nothing more than to help the two of them find a home that is accessible and affordable.
Please help this incredible little family! All funds will be directly sent to Courtney to help in offsetting the cost of this move.
In total Courtney receives 781 from Odsp in rental allowance yet the cost of a two bedroom, wheelchair accessible unit in Smiths Falls is $2200.00 per month.
