A Hitch in My Carefully Laid Plans

My long awaited move to Asheville NC is delayed. Tragically, I started my 47 hour drive Monday evening, pretty exhausted from 8 days of packing, too tired to be on the road, too eager to finally begin that I overrode common sense.
Four blocks from my friend’s house, I drove up over the end of a concrete center divider which hit square on the oil pan and took out a chunk out of my engine block‼️‼️. So I’m sitting in Sebastopol till Friday, getting my engine replaced. Only a small jolt for me so I’m fine and so is the car, except for a hole in the engine! Very sad as I’d much rather be in the mountains now, though I need the deep rest I’m getting at my friend’s house.
What I don’t need is the expense of $7500 of buying and installing a used engine.
Selling two-thirds of my stuff gave me a pleasant feeling of abundance around this trip. I can’t sacrifice that by draining my accounts for this engine - a bitter return to the life of struggle I’ve worked so hard to transmute. I’ve served this community long and well, yet events mostly covered overhead and salaries to produce them. I lived off my private practice. Good news is over 60% of my people do sessions by Zoom or phone already, so I take my practice with me, a solvency I’ve fought hard to regain - ever since getting the Temple.
Sustaining the Temple 14 years through the downturn required a Chapter 13, so borrowing isn’t an option and anything changing my credit report might affect my ability to qualify for a rental in Asheville.
Help me erase this threat to my new beginning as I answer the call to take this work to the East. Help me leave here financially free and able to rebuild my resources.
