Rosty and Jacqlyn Serebryany's five-year old daughter, Ava, needs a heart transplant. She has been in ICU at Sick Kids Hospital for the past two months. She had emergency surgery a few days ago and she can't leave the hospital until a heart becomes available, which could take up to 12 months. Rosty has stopped work, giving up his livelihood to be with her and support her life in the ICU.
Few can imagine the stress this puts on a family. As friends, we have the opportunity to alleviate the easiest part of the burden: the financial one. We have launched a GoFundMe campaign to support the family and we are asking you to contribute. Unused funds will be returned to you or donated to SickKids.
