A helping hand for Stacie

BIG UPDATE: We are now ready to start the wheels moving for Stacie’s granny flat and we need your help, any amount small or large will help. Stacie has 1 round of Chemo left and is tracking toward radical lung surgery in December, which has a 3- 6 month recovery process including radiation therapy on the tumour. We are looking at the option of turning an existing 3 car garage into a granny flat for Stacie rather than a new build from scratch that will take longer through Council and hopefully will cost a little less than a new building. We are currently working through the Council application process for this – if anyone has experience with this side of things please reach out. Other ways you can help might include contacts for insulation, flat pack kitchens, timber for framework, sliding glass door, bathroom fittings, flooring- carpet-tiles. To date we have got some awesome volunteers for labourers, plumbing, electrical and painting.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far- Stacie has been overwhelmed by your generosity, and wants to thank each and everyone individually, which she will get to when she’s up to it I’m sure.
