A Helping Hand for Mike and Billie

Donation protected
If you know Mike and Billie you know they would give the shirt off their backs to anyone with no questions asked.  Mike is one of the best cowboys in all of Arizona and has recently 'retired' from full time ranch work to help Billie at home with their Daughter Ally.   (Mike fits in day work when he can) Billie is still recovering from a recent back surgery.   Ally is  their 7 year old adopted daughter who has lived with them for 4 years.

Sweet Ally will steal your heart the minute you meet her.  She loves big and smiles with her whole body!  Ally was born  with KCNQ2 epilepsy syndrome.  Seizures are typically tonic and can have autonomic symptoms.

Ally requires full time care.  This means for entire her life she will be in diapers, fed with a bottle or pureed food and needs assistance sitting up and moves around in a wheel chair.  Her medical needs are a heavy load for anyone.  Her immune system is very fragile and she catches just about everything that comes around but it attacks her weak immune system much harder than you or I.  She is considered mediclly fragile.  Common colds and flu generally land Ally in the hospital.   There is no cure for Ally's syndrome.

Mike and Billie recently sold their home in an effort to live debt free and put all they have into caring for Ally.  They are currently living in an RV.  They are super blessed with lots of amazing people in their lives.  Some that allow them to have their RV parked on their place, others that have built a handicap ramp for Ally to be able to get in and out of their 'home' easily,  others that drop everything to come help when needed and even more that pray for them daily.

Mike and Billie also have a grandson, Patrick (13 months old) who was recently diagnosed with a  genetic disorder.  The fat in his blood is not breaking down properly so his little body never has any spare enzymes. His blood sugars are very unstable and have to be closely monitored,  He can go into seizures or coma if his blood suugars drop too low.   His momma, Ruby, is strong and works hard to  take care of him.  Ruby recently lost her job and as a single mom is having a hard time making ends meet.  With Patrick's best interests front of mind she has decided to move back in with her parents, Mike and Billie.  Their RV is not big enough for them all.  They have listed the RV they are living in now (that Billie has remodeled so beautifully) to buy a bigger one to help Ruby and Patrick get their feet on the ground. Billie will help care for Patrick some so Ruby can work.

With all the recent hospital stays this family is in need of financial assistanace.  They will use any money raised to help offset medical costs and the cost of the new larger RV they need.

Please pray about helping them.  Also pray for daily strength for them both to be able to give Ally and Patrick the care they need.  Pray for peace that passes all understanding when worries try to creep in while caring for medically fragile kids, pray for a good job for Ruby, pray for a buyer for their RV, pray for miracles for these kids, pray that they can impact many lives through their stories.

We all know we serve and on time God. Mike and Billie put all their trust in the Lord and are obedient to his calling on their lives. We can all be  thankful of how great the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!

Children are a gift from the Lord. Psalms 127:3
