A Helping Hand for Holly's Kids

Donation protected
Foster Care Awareness month has officially ended but the foster care journey for some is just beginning... meet my friend Holly Cram.

Today Holly agreed to an emergency placement and unexpectedly became an instant mom to 2 sweet kiddos who were in need of a home.  As she takes on this role, one can't help but to think of what she may be feeling... emotions running over as she signs mounds of paperwork.. with no idea when their last meal was or their last bath..  not knowing if they had a bedtime or even if they had their own beds... having no idea how long they are staying and if her "Yes" was a forever yes.  The emotions, both chaotic and beautiful, provide a perfect place to meet God.

Many people ask how they can help.. how can they be involved without being able to open up their home to a child?  Here is your chance.

Holly said yes to these kids, knowing all she had was two beds and a ton of love to offer...no diapers, no wipes, no clothes, no shoes, no toys.  She is in the process of looking for a place to live that will suit the children's needs and become a home.  When asked what she needed.. Holly only asked for prayers.

I am astounded by her faith and her total trust that God will provide.  Prayers are powerful but you can also be the answer to someone's prayers.

I encourage you.. if you want to come alongside someone as they begin their journey as a foster parent ... GIVE.  No amount is too small, anything will help.
