A Helping Hand for Helena

Helena and Myron Capps have been madly in love for 34 years.  After many happy, fun-filled years together, Myron took care of Helena through a long illness that left her disabled.  She recovered from her illness but is unable to work.  Myron's odd jobs kept them afloat and they moved to Florida to enjoy their golden years together.  This September Myron was hospitalized with vertebrae fractures and went through extensive testing. He was diagnosed with osteoporosis and had surgery to have his vertebrae repaired. He was sent home to recover in time for his 73rd birthday and the couple were looking forward to many more years together. The day after his birthday, Myron had a massive stroke from a blood clot to his brain.  He underwent surgery to remove the clot 3 weeks ago and was sent to a long-term care facility with his prognosis unknown.  Sadly, Myron passed away the morning of October 13th, leaving Helena with a broken heart, no life insurance  or retirement, debt and funeral expenses. We are asking for immediate help for this warm and wonderful woman while she grieves the loss of her husband and best friend.
