A Heartfelt Plea for Our Dear Angela Harper
Angela is a devoted wife to her loving husband Michael and a proud, caring mother to Kevin and Kieleah. Since making Dade City her home in 2004, she has filled her life with family, friends, and the community she holds so close to her heart. For years Angela brought smiles to everyone as a hairdresser at Distinctive Hair Designs. Then in March 2024, everything changed. After frightening hospital stays and tests, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She fought hard — through surgery, long months of chemotherapy, and so many difficult days — with incredible strength and grace. In January 2025 she proudly rang the bell, and even returned to work part-time at Wavelengths Hair Designs, holding onto hope.
Angela and Michael are known for their love of music, peaceful days on the water, and the warm friendships they’ve built — especially as owners of Banana Wind Bar & Grill. But recently, they received devastating news: the cancer has returned and spread to her peritoneum. Angela is now facing stage 4 colon cancer. The emotional weight of this journey has been crushing, and the financial burden is overwhelming. They used every bit of their savings during the first battle, and Angela has only been able to work part-time while facing ongoing treatments, medical bills, and lost income.
This next fight is even tougher. Your kindness can help lift some of the heavy load so this family can focus on what matters most — healing, strength, and treasuring every moment together. Any donation, prayer, or share would mean more than you know. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.
