Our hearts are completely shattered. Yesterday, February 24th, our 15-year-old Tayvon was taken from us in a senseless drive-by shooting. He was just a kid with his whole life ahead of him, and now we’re forced to figure out a world without him in it.

No one ever expects to be planning a funeral for a 15-year-old. We weren’t prepared for this nightmare, and we’re just trying to give him the goodbye he deserves without the weight of these funeral costs breaking us even further.

We just want to honor the boy he was, not the way he was taken from us.
