<div>For as long as we can remember, we have dreamed of becoming parents. The thought of holding our baby in our arms, watching them grow, and creating a family of our own has been a vision we have held onto tightly. But the road to parenthood has not been as smooth as we had hoped, and after years of struggling with infertility, we find ourselves asking for your help.

<div>We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hope for the future, asking for support to help us cover the costs of our next round of IVF treatments. In August 2024, after 8 years of infertility, we were given one chance at IVF with ICSI through the NHS and we poured all of our hope into it. Sadly, that round was unsuccessful and we were left devastated. After taking some time to process the disappointment, we made the decision to try again, paying privately and placing all our hopes on the one frozen embryo we had left.

<div>On December 2, 2024, we received the best news we could have ever imagined—our first-ever positive pregnancy test. It felt like a Christmas miracle, and we were over the moon. Our dreams were finally coming true.

<div>But the joy we had felt was short-lived. On Christmas Eve, we were told that our baby wasn’t developing as expected, and we were asked to return for a rescan just one week later. We held on to hope, trying to believe that everything would be okay. Sadly, when we returned, we learned that we had suffered a silent miscarriage. We were sent home to wait, unsure if my body would miscarry naturally or if we would need medical intervention. The pain of this loss has been excruciating.

<div>We are heartbroken, and the pain of losing our baby has been unbearable. Our dream of becoming a family feels so far away now, ripped away from us in the cruelest way imaginable.
</div>

<div>As we take some time to process this loss and be a couple again before the weight of everything takes its toll, our thoughts inevitably turn to the future. We’re terrified about how we’re going to afford another IVF cycle this year. We have no frozen embryos left, so our next round will need to be a full cycle, costing between £12,000 and £15,000.
</div>
<div>We’ve already spent our savings fighting for this and the thought of giving up on our dream due to the financial strain is devastating.
</div>

<div>We’ve tried everything we can to make this dream a reality on our own, but we are reaching out now because we can’t do it without the help of our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who may understand the pain of wanting something so desperately and not being able to make it happen.
