Ciao bella gente,
English version:
Hello lovely people,
my name is Dora and I started raising funds for the education of an 18-year-old boy, Musa, from Gambia who had to leave school because he was orphaned along with his three brothers.
We met on social media because we are linked by the idea of ending wars. I was struck by his humility, his education and how informed he is despite not having access to the library, school or any other form of information. I was especially amazed by his lifelong dream of becoming a human rights defender by studying law at university.
And while he is pursuing his dream, his family faces a severe crisis due to food shortages. They find themselves in a vicious circle where Musa cannot provide for his siblings and their adoptive mother unless he completes his studies. Moreover, he will never be able to realise his dream of becoming a lawyer if he does not get his diploma.
The school is tied to annual costs and in order to allow Musa to study without worries for the family, I would like to provide them with monthly financial support for the school period so that they can feed themselves without problems.
The school fee amounts to 42600 GMB (almost 590 EUR) in total for one year. Musa needs to attend 2 more years to complete his studies and be able to enter a satisfying and stable work situation. The fee for the second year is due at the end of March 2025.
During his studies Musa will not be able to provide for his family financially, but he will need to be able to focus on his own education and for this reason your help, everyone's help is requested in the form of financial support that would cover the family's needs during these three years of studies. With 150€ per month the family will be able to meet the necessary expenses without going hungry.
Don't let Musa's dream remain a dream! Let us help him become a human rights lawyer.

Musa's words:
My name is Musa Colley. I am 18 years old. I live with my stepmom and three younger siblings in Gambia, West Africa. Sadly we lost both parents.
Me and my family are really struggling so hard to make ends meet but unfortunately I’m a dropped out student, due to lack of funds I couldn’t continue schooling. My late father was sponsoring my schooling. I wish I can get back to school to continue my education so that I can come up with good grades or proper school certificates to be able to get a job and feed my family. It is a dream for me to one day go to university and study law specialising in human rights. I would like to be of help not only to my family, but also to the whole mankind.
Our living situation is very hard up to an extend that even food to eat is sometimes a problem for us get.
Although I have been doing my best and still going out to search for any kind of work to do and get paid daily so that I can put food on the table, unfortunately anything I get daily can only cover our daily meal, which means we live from hand to mouth nothing stays long.
We live in a poor country and especially our village is very poor and we are not getting any help from the government or organization for aid this make it much difficult to live life here in the village.
I want to finish my schooling but my main aim this moment is to work for myself as I’m getting older and am the only one looking after my family. In this case I would really appreciate a help for either a poultry farm to raise small chicks and sell and the eggs , or get a piece of land to make a garden whereby I can grow vegetables and crops to sell and earn a better living to look after my family as soon as possible because we are facing lot of troubles here for food and Medicare. And with this I can take my siblings to school and make good of their future lives. To work for myself is my main aim to get rid of our poor situation and help others around me. Thank you
