A headstone for Mason Allen Durham

Over 7 years ago now, Mr. Mason Allen Durham passed away. He served as a custodian of Bloxom Primary School for many years and so many of us from the Shore hold fond memories of him. Mr. Mason Allen Durham of Bloxom, VA, husband of Rosalie Collins Durham passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Riverside-Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA.
Born in Mears, Virginia on October 10, 1936, Mason was the son of the late Edward Durham and and the late Iva Miles Durham. He was a retired custodian at the former Bloxom Primary School. Mason was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Bloxom, a member of the Bloxom Vol. Fire Department and was an antique car enthusiast, participating in many car shows on Delmarva.
Sadly, he still does not have a grave marker other than the temporary one shown here. Former students of the now closed Bloxom Primary School, and residents of the Eastern Shore want to honor this gentleman properly by giving him a permanent headstone.
