On Saturday the 7th of April one of the good ones was taken away from his family all too soon.
Matt Sears a kind, funny and loveable character was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just before Christmas 2017. The prognosis of cancer never deterred Matt from wanting to spend more time on this earth surrounded by the ones he loved most.
Matt leaves behind the love of his life Dallas and a beautiful and very intelligent daughter Scarlett.
Matt and Dallas met 23 years ago and have been on life’s high ever since. They shared so much love, life and laughs together; and “he gave me the person that will now be my biggest strength” (quote from Dallas).
“I want to celebrate his life, and what a life it was. We fit so much into such a short space of time. We did more in our time together than most people did in a lifetime. When Matt was told it was ‘bucket list time’, his response was that there was nothing left on his bucket list & that he was very happy with the life he had lived. That knowledge has made this all so much easier.”
