A friend in need, Fitzy and Joyce

Most of you on my Facebook page have been to one of the East End Grill restaurant locations. The original started on Knight Arnold in the late 80's and has been a local bar and grill ever since. For those of you that have been frequent customers, know how easy it is to become part of the EEG family. Chris (Fitzy) has been the General Manager for over 20 years. To know him is to love him. On November 29, 2020, his wife Joyce heard a loud noise in the front yard and went outside to see that a car had crashed in their front yard. She opened the passenger door to see if anyone was injured, at which that time the passenger grabbed her, punched her in the face, and held her as the driver put the car in reverse. Even though she asked that they stop, the driver proceeded to drive off. As a result, still holding on to the car, she was dragged into the street, and eventually run over by the car.  Her feet were pretty much split in half. Unbeknownst to them, the suspects were fleeing a warrant and have not been apprehended as of now. 

Since the 29th, she has had a total of 4 surgeries, with one being today. As of right now, it is not known if she will be discharged before Christmas. The doctors are trying to save both feet, and skin graphs will possibly be needed to correct skin damage. Joyce is a cancer survivor so we know she can overcome anything, but she definitely has a long road ahead to recovery, and Fitzy will need to be there to help her. We know how insurance can be, and all of her medical costs will not be covered. There will be lots of out-of-pocket fees. Anything donated will help this family pay for medical expenses. Fitzy is the type of person that will drop what he's doing to help anyone and everyone, and now his family is needing our help! 2020 has been tough on all of us, but if you can help them in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. $1 to spare, a prayer, or please just share.
