A Fresh Start for Lloyd

Donation protected
In life, you get just a few true friends, the kind you hold onto and the sort you know for the rest of your days. These friends are honest, loyal, and protective of you and yours. Lloyd is that kind of person. Not just for me, but for everyone whose life he touches. He’s backed me up more times than I can count. We’ve ridden thousands of miles together. He’s held my babies. He stayed at my house when my mother needed an extra set of hands around. I remember when I had a week to get work done on my house and he volunteered, just to hang out and help out. We worked night and day for seven days and he expected nothing in return because he does things out of love. He is truly a rare person, full of kindness, ready to be there for you when you need someone. We all know this is the kind of person Lloyd is.

Lloyd loves everyone. But not everyone loves him. Last year, while Lloyd was riding his MC, a man followed him around a traffic circle several times and then followed him down the street until eventually confronting him over an old beef that was actually just a misunderstanding. That man goaded Lloyd into removing his helmet and then headbutted Lloyd in the mouth. Just as Lloyd fought back, two people began to record video. Unfortunately, Lloyd won that fight. I say unfortunately because the evidence that shows Lloyd winning does not show Lloyd being attacked, and Lloyd got arrested and put in jail. He is serving 18 months for winning that fight.

So what do we want to do about this? Lloyd will exit jail with a record he doesn’t deserve, and that will make life just that much harder for him. You can do something about that. So far we have collected almost $2000, which is being released to Beverly, with whom Lloyd now lives. She is in the best position to steward this funding until Lloyd’s release. I trust her 100%, but you can message me with questions. This money is going to help Lloyd build up some lawn care gear so that he can start his own business when he is released. We want Lloyd to win. We want to see him succeed. We are asking for your help getting him started in his own business. I plan to be his first client.
