<div>I’ve been homeless since October 14, 2024, and my car has been the only roof over my head for the past year. It’s a 16-year-old vehicle that’s been pushed far beyond its limits, and today I learned it’s no longer safe to drive. The mechanic found a major issue, but the truth is there are several other problems that would cost far more to fix than the car is worth.

<div>Losing my car means losing my shelter, my mobility, and the little stability I’ve managed to hold onto.

<div>I’m trying to raise $2,500 so I can get back on my feet somewhat, where I have a real chance to start fresh and rebuild. This amount would help me get there safely and cover immediate essentials as I work on securing stable housing and employment.
