A Final Obstacle

As many of you already know I was rushed to the hospital last week with pneumonia. That situation is working itself out but it was scary for a while. I'm still at the hospital at UCLA so now added to the dental expanses that I was hoping to solve I added new expanses with ambulance transportation and more needed care. Boy, I better get a really big hug and a blue ribbon for this mess I've gone through these past years. All I can do is keep fighting.

And this explains the dental situation....

The challenges just keep coming. I’ve been getting ready for what I thought was going to be a final surgery to put in a new prosthetic and start trying to walk again. I’ve been hung up so long in this bed and not caring for just normal things that I’d discovered that my dental situation is a real mess. Infections in the teeth and the mouth area are incredibly dangerous ways to have the infections travel to the knee and just blow the whole deal. So now I run into insurance problems once again. Three days ago I had the largest infected molar pulled, paid generously by my son, Zak. The remainder of work that is needed to be done before they can operate on my knee is somewhere around 10 thousand. It’s really that simple. So Im once again asking for help.

God Bless you all for hanging in this long.

With more gratitude than you know.
