A Fight Against Late Stage Lyme Disease

As many of you may know by now, my sweet youngest daughter, Hanna, has recently been diagnosed with late stage Lyme disease. The symptoms are terrifying and very debilitating – and heart-breaking for me to watch.

She has started treatment and we’re optimistic that she will start to feel better soon, but it may take a while, and meanwhile she is suffering financially as well as physically. She is the primary bread-winner of her household in Brooklyn, New York, but since falling ill she has been unable to work. Her rent alone is $3000/month, and medical costs are already stacking up as well.
