As a soldier, a medic, and a police officer, I have dedicated myself to saving lives, protecting others, and standing strong in the face of hardship. But today, I find myself in a battle I never could have prepared for—the unimaginable loss of my son.

The insurance company, which we had trusted to be there in times like this, has refused to cover the costs of laying our son to rest. <strong>I never thought I would have to ask for help, but after years of service, I find myself in a position where I cannot do this alone.</strong>
