My name is is Cory, Friend of mine / coworker is going through some hard times, In 2022 Ryan was diagnosed with Fabry Disease which is a very rare genetic disease that can affect different organs. In Ryan’s case it caused his Kidneys to fail. Fabry disease also causes severe life long episodes called Fabry Crisis which is a sudden and intense episode of burning, neuropathic pain starting in the hands and feet and spreading throughout the body. This debilitating event can last for hours or days and is triggered by factors like stress, exercise, fatigue, fever, or changes in temperature.

He was in stage 5 Renal Failure, and recently placed on UNOS (National Organ Transplant List). There is a wait of 8-10 years for his blood type O+. He was set for a dialysis port to be placed on 9/9/25. Graciously, he was matched with a family member and received a kidney from her on the same day he was set to have his dialysis port placed. Ryan is a heavy duty mechanic and will be unable to work or provide for his 13 year old daughter for the next 8-12 weeks. If you know Ryan you know how giving and big hearted he is. He is not the type to ask anyone for help but anything, even a prayer would be helpful in his time of healing.
