<div>Hello. My name is Savannah and my friend Rizik brought up to me that our friend Marcus and his daughter Élodie need a fundraiser to get out of detention. This is Marcus and his daughters story from his own words.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am Marcus, a 52-year-old former archivist from Cameroon, and my daughter, Élodie, 14. We fled not for political persecution, but because I refused to hand over our nation's last remaining pre-colonial manuscripts to a powerful art trafficker with government ties. Minneapolis was meant to be our quiet refuge.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On April 1, 2026, during a sweeping immigration enforcement action, ICE agents raided our small apartment above a Lake Street bookstore. They claimed my temporary work authorization had a "typographical mismatch" in the system, a single digit off in my A-number. The real blow came when they also seized Élodie's sketchbook, mistaking her detailed architectural drawings of old St. Anthony Falls for "surveillance imagery. We are both now held in detention, unable to contact the journalist who has been helping document the trafficker's crimes, evidence that could finally grant us asylum.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We need $9,00 for a specialized immigration attorney and a cultural affidavit from a historian. The affidavit will prove the irreplaceable value of the manuscripts and the real threat we face if returned. Without it, our case collapses.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>You are not just reuniting a father and daughter. You are saving a continent's lost history from being erased forever, and giving a quiet, gifted girl the chance to one day become an architect in the city that welcomed her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With love and gratitude.

</div>

<div>Mucus.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please help our friend Marcus a father and his daughter Élodie reunite

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With love and gratitude from Rizik and Savannah aswell
