On September 8, 2019 Bennie Charles Branch life was taken from him by a Tacoma Police Officer who shot him in the back 7 times as he was running away after they beat and tazed him, right in front of his mother. Then waited almost 10 mins before requesting medical Attention. They said he was armed but the airsoft gun had been retrieved prior to them shooting him. Bennie had just turned 24 years old when his life was taken from him.
