My husband, David Ulises Alfaro Vasquez, was wrongfully arrested by ICE after being mistaken for another man who shares the same name. Because of this tragic mistake, David has been treated as a criminal when in reality, he has never had any record and has always been a hardworking, honest man.

David is not only my husband, but he is also the father of our young child, who needs him more than ever. Every day, she asks for her daddy, and it breaks my heart to see her confusion and pain. My husband was the main provider for our family, working tirelessly to give us stability while still finding time to help others in our community. He has always paid his taxes, lived responsibly, and been a kind and generous person to everyone around him.

Now, with him gone, I am struggling to hold everything together. The financial burden of bills, attorney and immigration fees is more than I can handle alone.
