a family in need of during holidays

Hello, I am writing this letter on behalf of a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). They have found themselves without a place to live during the holidays (they have been without a place to stay since December 15th). They do have temporary housing in place that begins January 1st and will end in March. My main objective is to assist them with funds in order to find a temporary place where they can spend the holidays.

Ultimately, they are looking for a place for the long term that they can rent in the Pacifica area (in the Bay Area). A little background about the family: both parents work, but they are only able to afford $1400 a month in rent. The $5,000 dollars will be used to help them to find a place to live either temporarily orlong term.
Esteban is in one of the children and he is seven years old. He is in first grade. Elizabeth is in second grade and she is a very smart girl that cares deeply about her brother.
